Having previously designed their own site using an ‘off the shelf’ package they assumed that the world would arrive credit card in hand and ready to buy. Sadly, this was never the case.

After a period of time they began to realise that it wasn’t working for them, so they comissioned us to troubleshoot their existing website.

After agreeing a plan we redesigned the site and added an ecommerce facility so that they could take orders online. Clever design and marketing saw some early successes in the form of a contract being won to supply a specially branded lager beer.

We enhanced the site further by adding a backend content management system whereby they can add news items, add new products or send newsletters without the need for any technical expertise or software packages.

Most recently we optimised the site for the major search engines and within 5-6 months traffic had increased by 320%. Orders to the site have similarly increased and the Beers Scotland website is now widely recognised as the premier Micro Brew beers site in the UK

Since the site was optimised, it has seen a massive increase in traffic resulting in much increased sales. The table below shows the first page results for the most popular beer searches on the search engines Google and Yahoo.
