King James VI golf club have a long and interesting history. Situated in the very heart of the city of Perth on the Moncrieffe Island, the course is one of beauty.
We were approached to design a site where the club members could update their own news, competition dates and various other items that change on a regular basis. They also wanted a look and feel that would reflect a quality course.
The site consists of a content management system at the backend system so that new sections can be added or edited by inhouse staff outwith normal working hours. The site has been recently launched but in it's first month it has attracted over 2000 visitors and looks set to increase.
In the summer of 2002 we are installing an exciting new application that will capture a golfer's swing and be transposed to video. This will then be used to determine how the golf swing can be improved in order to improve a golfer's enjoyment and success in the game.
