How quick can I expect SEO results?
Supposing you have £200 or £2 million pounds to spend on SEO, when you start you must do so slowly and steadily. There is no fast way to get you a top 10 ranking in the free listings. So how does this SEO stuff work?
Step 1 – SEO Keyword (and Competitor) Research
Keyword research is the number one priority before any SEO work starts. The most common mistake companies make is guessing or assuming the keywords to target. Most often these keywords are the least profitable, are too competitive or are not in high demand. Think abouit it – if you were to ask 100 people to search for your products and services on Google, would you expect all of them to use the sasme key phrase? The reality is that only 10-20% would use the same key words.

OFF-PAGE SEO – (also known as linkbuilding)
Links pointing to your website from other websites can be thought of as votes (or points). However, not all websites are equal and it’s quality (not quantity) that matters. For example, a link back to your website from the BBC may earn your site 100 “points” whereas a link from a local small company website would only give you 1 “point”. There are of course numerous other factors that search engines use to rank pages such as quality of content, relevancy of web pages but nevertheless, links are the prime currency in any SEO campaign, so this is what we are aiming for.

Article Marketing
Google considers article directories as high quality websites which are also known as “authority” websites. Getting an article published on an article directory gives good “points” back to your website which in turn helps your website rank higher.
Articles can be placed on your own site on a regular basis to attract links, comment on your blog, website etc. The better the quality the article the more chance you have of getting links back to your site.
Submiotting articles to directories also gets links back to your site. What we do is submit articles to directories about your company with a view to getting them published. The articles are optimised by us and we place one or two links back to your website using keywords relevant to your products and services. From one article we produce between 5-10 different rewritten versions of this article and submit to 5-10 different article directories. We produce different versions of your article because search engines don’t reward points to duplicate articles.
In short – a combination of placing articles on your own site as well as posting to article directories gives your site more visibility and attracts links. You can provide us with your own articles or we can have these written for you by our own copywriters.
Typically you place 1 or 2 links to your site in an article and we recommend 3-4 articles in the first month then building this up slowly each month.
Press release marketing and submission
This works exactly the same way as article marketing but when submitting to PR directories you can add more links, more features such as images, video, podcasts etc into your press release depending on how much you are willing to pay.
Press release marketing it must be said can be relatively expensive on a per article basis and this should be considered beforehand. Equally, press release marketing can however be inexpensive if you hit the mark with your story and produce incredible results.
